Windows 10 HDD 100% busy (How to fix)

Windows 10 users are facing 100% disk usage which is making their computers run slow and sometimes the response while using computer with such an overhead causes nervousness.

While surfing the internet I found out there are a few things we should check out in order to fix this issue.

If your computer is running on 100% hdd on your windows 10 take the following steps:

1. Click on Start / Run

2. Enter the following command: services.msc as shown in the screen shot above, windows local services will show up as shown below:

3. Look for service name Superfetch, click on Stop to stop the services

4. Stop the Superfetch service and disable it's automatic startup, by right clicking on the services / Properties you'll see the following Superfetch Properties window, select Disabled for the Startup type and hit Apply/Ok

5. Wait a few seconds and check your task manager and you'll notice that your HDD has returned to normal.

I hope this fixed your issue as it did fix mine.
